Performance anxiety
Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 1:27 After nearly a year of no long-form blogging, I find it somewhat daunting to be stepping back into the light and facing my audience in this format. Tweeting is cheating -- it's just too easy -- but with Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr (amongst others) taking centre stage and pushing the crusty old blogs aside, it's going to be a real challenge to make this journal work again.
But work it shall, and with the move to Squarespace we'll have put Indonesian hackers behind us -- we hope -- and face a bright new future.
Right. That's the first post sorted. It'll be easier from here on in. I hope.

It is haunting you Ragnar, you have created a series that is stalking you until you die (yup people will still interrogate you even if you end it officially).
I know you don't want people to remember you only for TLJ but I think it is quite an achievement that you have made a permanent imprint on a cult of gamers.
Good luck on TSW I have never played MMORPG but I will definitely give it a try.

I really AGREE with you about the whole WAITING-FOR-TLJ-NEWS thing but that's not the only reason TSW is another reason!
Yay! Welcome back to the land of full sentences and even gasp paragraphs. Just found out the blog was back today but it's like finding an extra christmas present hidden back under the tree :)
FINALLY. When the blog went down, I was like, WTF, how is it possible that a WRITER prefers short one-sentence tweets over a platform where he can write as much as he needs to in order to properly express himself without feeling handicapped? You mentioned Indonesian hackers, and now it makes sense.
But really--you DO prefer blogging over tweets, don't you? :D
I'm so happy that you are blogging again. I read you blog only for TLJ/Dreamfall news, and it was really uncomfortable to search 'em on twitter. I hope you'll keep posting here.
