Fortunately (or unfortunately?), yesterday's post was a Big Fat Lie. While I would love to see a portable Dreamfall (the PSP would probably be a better fit than the DS, considering the visuals and the audio), I cringe at the thought of Dr. Boll getting his disturbingly incompetent hands on our universe. A Dreamfall movie might happen at some point - there is interest - but not now, and not from the man who put the final nail in the coffin of Christian Slater's 'career'.

I would really like to see a TLJ/Dreamfall movie though, or atleast a Tornquist movie ;)

I know you are looking beyond videogames so i'll keep my hopes up for you.

What about a DS version of TLJ?

Man oh man... i am relieved.
I Just (Sunday, not paying attention that Friday was the first of April, and skipped the Saturday post first - due to chronological reasons)read about the Dreamfall movie supposably directed by Uwe Boll. The first thing i mumbled was. Why, why the hell Uwe Boll. Earlier this Year i catched his "Alone in the Dark" flick on a sneak-previw. The first thing i did that night was checking back with IMDB.com to get some pice of proof that this movie sucked ... and then i saw it "Bottom Nr. 13" ( Now 22)
And now i thougt... why sould he be allowed to do a Dreamfall movie. And i can't really, really express how glad i am just beeing april fooled by mister Tornquist himself.
Congratulations, i was not fooled once on Friday, but you cought me off guard - Good One Mr. Tornquist :-)

and keep up the good work on dreamfall too

greets, berry

Just saw the preview on Adrenaline Vault... Is the game really only 12-15 hours long? Eek. While I fully appreciate how polished the game can be with it only being that long, I have a hard time convincing myself to spend $50 on it. I'm just a poor college student. I can only afford a $50 game every six months or so. If it comes between getting a really great game that I can beat in two days or a pretty good game that takes me a week, I'm going to go for the latter.

*wonders if Bioware's Dragon Age will be out by Christmas*

One $50 game every 6 months... so how are things in East Timor?

How many games have took over 15 hours to complete recently?

TLJ's 30 hours (yeah right...) is more like 20 hours, 5 hours of that is going back and forth screens with nothing in them, and trying to find that dialogue tree that unlocks something.

Saying that I do think games in general should be longer, they should atleast fill up a DVD with content.

took? taken... don't mind me, I'm slightly tired.

I wouldn't mind TLJ, if not Dreamfall, on the DS though. Readers of adventuregamers.com will know that a Japanese made adventure game, Another Code, is being made on that system.

I agree, the PSP might have that adventure maker but the touchpad on the DS would be all too useful for adventures. PSP would probably be better for Dreamfall, with bigger screen, better graphics, and analog sticks.

You are a genious man :)

Yo! Rangor! Ive played Anarchy Online since '01 and have never tried out your game TJL untill recently. My god man! It has brought back my hunger for adventure gaming. Bringing back memories of Gabriel Knight, Shadowgate, Blade Runner, and now, The Longest Journey. I can also tell that you worked on the Anarchy Online team in the way that in your game, the cities (at least Newport, as thats as far as I am) Look like the AI cities. And the artwork in this game....whew. You can tell they pulled alot of the art from this title in the making of the redeemed/unredeemed characters in ao. Omg, I'm rambling on here, but from a true (and new) fan of yours....THANK YOU!
