It wasn't my intention to keep you kids waiting until the very last day for the second super exclusive, super tiny Dreamfall screenshot - but hey, it drives traffic. Also, I've been preoccupied. But here it is, finally, in all its (tiny) glory:
Together with Zoë, you will revisit Venice, a neighbourhood in the North American city of Newport where April Ryan once resided. A decade has passed, and the years have definitely left their mark. Following the Collapse (oooh, mysterious), Newport - and especially Venice - struggled, and now things are gloomier than they were back in April's day...in more ways than one.
I like the way the 'Hot Sexy' sign contrasts the stark background, power cables silhouetted against a late afternoon sky heavy with rain and pollution. I also like the bird.

Still, looks awesome. I'm looking forward to the game even more now that I know that Venice has done a downhill slide. I love dystopian futures, and if the whole 'Blade Runner' feel has spread even further from Metro Circle, I'm a happy gamer.

All the screenshots have been pretty worthless so far, the first ones (of Zoe) because they were taken badly, the last two because they are small and show very little.
The good thing however, is the info that accompanies the last two screenshots does make up for them, while the other screenshots should probably be retaken.
Those screenshots were on the front pages of Evil Avatar and Gamespy, probably more, people might have gotten the wrong impression of Dreamfall.

You've gotta admit that it's really hard to make out the details of these screenshots, but I'm still glad we're getting them. Also the info is definately appreciated.

Newport does have animals. Remember the seagul in TLJ that you had to feed bread in order to eventually obtain a certain 'ducky'? :)

The "Collapse?" Hmm, certainly couldn't be something as simple as joining the two worlds together? Ah, but what then?

I don't think it is the two worlds joining together, there is still a stark and an arcadia. Plus I don't think the two worlds joining together would cause an increase in sex shops in Venice some how. Obviously the story is about the two worlds joining, or atleast a prelude to that.
This collapse could be political, economic or a disaster (e.g. natural disaster) caused by what April did, what the Vanguard are doing, or another problem with the divide.

I like them even though they're small... Keep up the good work, Ragnar! (That is, blog regularly - and get your Games out of the door in time)
