  Well, then. Bush it is.
Comments:
Could be worse...

Yeah, I'm really sorry. But I did vote against him, so it's not really my fault.

"Could be worse..."

Heh, I voted for Cthulhu, figuring I'd rather have the lesser of two evils.

Rags,

bad news! WB axed Global Frequency! :)

Personally, I'd trust Ain't It Cool News about as far as I could throw Harry Knowles.

It's sad that so much negative opinions of Bush are based on fallacies. Oh well, we'll just keep winning.
(By the way John, by far most of the voter "irregularities" went Kerry's way, including over 20,000 votes in corrupt Philly)

Seyd: I could find no information regarding the "20,000" number for Philly, nor where it has been said that the irregularities have been favorable for Kerry. Source for either assertion?

Either way, there needs to be an immediate investigation into the veracity of these machines.

I'd like a source as well, and not Fox News, because that is the most one-sided television station I've ever seen (especially when they call themselves "Fair and Balanced")

That and many other reports were brought to light throughout election day on many news organizations, most notably the Drudge Report which all the networks pay attention to. The votes I refered to were found in just one small polling place in Philly where they appeared before the official opening. That one was corrected by the afternoon. There were also reports in Penn. and Ohio where voters showed up and someone had voted in their place, instances where Rep. and Ind. who voted often disapeared from polls that the DNC controlled, rampant voter fraud (in one of many examples the DNC registered more new voters than the entire population of that county), Penn. Governor's attempt to make sure that the mail-in vote's of mostly military men weren't counted, ect. This stuff was everywhere for weeks.(By the way I only get BBC and MSNBC not Fox, but it doesn't seem much different except flashier).

Upon checking the Drudge Report, I found this. There were 2000 votes, not 20,000, and it didn't actually mention if all the votes were for Kerry, Bush, both, someone else, or combinations thereof.

Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell didn't "attempt to make sure that the mail-in vote's of mostly military men weren't counted," he simply didn't extend the deadline for the votes, and the courts sided with him. (Source -- see how easy it is?)

If you imply that his doing that is also a violation, it makes no sense:

---------------
"In the state's April 27 primary, Rendell successfully sought court orders to extend the deadline for absentee ballots from military families and overseas voters until May 17 - three weeks after the election.

But Rendell spokeswoman Kate Philips said the need then was legitimate. Because of a record number of challenges to nominating petitions, many counties did not mail absentee ballots on time, making a deadline extension necessary.

"The fact is, all military and absentee ballots have been mailed in Pennsylvania and there's certainly time to return those," she said. "There's an implication that (Rendell) would put party politics over his responsibility as governor, and he would never do that."
---------------

And there's no evidence to the contrary.

I couldn't find reports of people having had others vote in their place--source?

In fact, the only confirmed incident I can find of overvoting without adequate explanation (besides machine error) are the 4,000 extra votes in Ohio:

---------------
Gahanna, Ohio, 4,258 voters supposedly cast an electronic ballot for George Bush while only 260 voted for John Kerry. While it is vaguely possible that over 94% of voters in the precinct supported George W. Bush, it is a hard number to believe considering that only 638 voters were counted at the polling center. (Source)
---------------

There were reports coming from both sides in regards to fraud, but registration fraud, no voter fraud (which is different, see article). As of yet, there hasn't been substantiation for either of them.

As for "instances where Rep. and Ind. who voted often disapeared from polls that the DNC controlled," I couldn't find reports of that, either. Source?

The CNN article, meanwhile, only tells of possible electronic errors, and doesn't relate to voter fraud.

*sob* Just...*sob*
What is wrong with half of my country?

Must...control...rage....
