I returned to the office yesterday to find that a great deal had happened in my absence, which probably means that I should stay away more often. Things are certainly looking very, very good...and that's all that I have to say about that.
Like I stated on Thursday, these are busy days for me. Busier than usual. When I got home last night I sat down to write, and that's what I'll be doing today as well. And tomorrow. Unfortunately, I had a slow start this morning, since my body just refused to wake up properly despite: a) the alarm clock; b) noisy upstairs neighbours; c) a pressing schedule; and d) the cat, who was unusually frisky. I finally managed to rise...at twenty past twelve. Which is very late for me, even on weekends.
So I'm running a little late, but I will still be taking a break from around five to see
The Matrix Revolutions, something I'm not exactly looking forward to. The movie hasn't been particularly well received, and I really didn't like the last one either, but the circle must be closed; I have to see it, damn the consequences. The slow death of the
Matrix franchise must be witnessed and mourned. (Or perhaps its rise from the ashes like the Phoenix, banishing all memories of
Reloaded to the dark places... Nah.)
Coffee now. Then: words.
