After a few intensive weeks, there is finally downtime. Tonight, for the first time in almost a month, I got to crash on the couch, watch a movie and eat ice-cream - without feeling guilty about it.
The movie was, ironically enough,
Adaptation. Which (amongst other things) is a movie about writing a movie. It was a particularly apt way to end the week.
I am, however, incredibly, incredibly tired. I'll finally be able to catch up on some much-needed Zs this weekend, but come Monday it's time to tackle those mounting deadlines at work. Christmas is only four weeks away, and we have a few milestones to cross before that time. December 12th is a key date for
The Longest Journey.
One thing that I will get around to soon is to play a game - any game. I have barely touched a controller since early October, and there's a stack of games just waiting to be played...and more on the way. Including
Manhunt and
Final Fantasy X-2. Right now, however, the ones I want to spend some time with are
Jak II and
Broken Sword 3.
But on Sunday, it's TTT:
Two Towers Time. The special extended version is here, and I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl. I can't wait.
