Fun episode.

Microsoft just announced that they've acquired Rare -- one of the best console developers around, previously exclusive to Nintendo platforms -- and that Rare is working on a sequel to one of the best first-person shooters around, Perfect Dark. Neat-o. Extremely stupid and arrogant of Nintendo, though. They need good games, just as much as everyone else. After all, they can only do so many in-house productions. Smart Microsoft. Dumb Nintendo.

Some dire news about the next Superman movie. I won't spoil it, but check out this article for details. It's sad when a studio doesn't understand its own property, and destroying an American legend like this is simply unfathomable. Everyone -- everyone -- is familiar with the mythology and history of the Man of Steel. To change it like this, without any purpose other than "surprising" the audience, is ridiculous. Hopefully, Warner Bros. will receive enough negative feedback to make them rethink their strategy.

And, man, I liked the sound of the Batman vs. Superman movie. Why didn't they go with that one? Idiots.
